The Human Resources Generalist coordinates various Human Resources functions, which may involve recruitment and selection, processing of new hires, processing of action forms and status changes, performance reviews, benefits administration, terminations, job descriptions, payroll, training/education, career development, awards/recognition and wellness programs, employee relations, or other special projects as assigned, in compliance with all policies, procedures, and Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. This position performs highly responsible technical and administrative work assisting the Human Resources Director. Employees in this classification work independently, often without direct supervision and exercise a considerable amount of independent judgment.
